PIXIE MARKET

Pixie is an online store which offers great variety of clothes and accessories for sale and delivery into different countries of the world. But it can boast not only of good service and great collection of brand items in stock: recently it has developed loyal social media community which proves the high quality of the services it offers.

Our team participated in the development of all parts of this store and Magento Community 1.7.0.2 helped us to achieve the goal.

The primary task at the beginning was to move it from Z-cart to Magento.

Next we created clean and simple design: inspired by Pinterest social network the directory and product pages were designed in the similar style. The following modules were used to help us accomplish the task: Size Guide, Color and Size Swatch, Ajax Cart, Facebook Connect and social media buttons. Also the website has become completely integrated with such social networks as: FaceBook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram.

In addition we equipped the store with some other modules that can improve the user experience:

• The module which can edit the number of items and their characteristics directly in the shopping cart without loading the product page. We have developed it ourselves and currently use it in other projects as well;
• The Custom Shipping module which allows assigning different delivery rules;
• The module which gives possibility to use different currencies.

We have also made some changes to My Account and have installed Order Grid for a quick and easy order management in the admin panel.

All in all it took us just about 2 months to complete the work and now the shop can serve as a good example of a high standard Magento website.
